WIC - Women, Infant, Children - If you have a WIC office near you they can be of help. Many offices also have Breastfeeding Assistants/Peer Counselors. If not, they should be able to direct you to someone that can help. Even if you do not qualify for WIC, I know that in our office we would never deny information to a woman or child in need. So call and ask.
La Leche League - Some of the leagues practices are a little radical for some people. But they can be a big help and resource.
Dr. Thomas Hale - Is not only the author of books listed below, but hosts a very informative bulletin board on Lactation and Breastfeeding, Dr. Hale's Breastfeeding Pharmacology Page.
Dr. Berthold Berg's Innergame site is a wonderful resource for your child.
He has developed games, workbooks, and videos to help not only professionals,
but parents too, in working with children. He covers everything from Anger
Control to his newest released last summer, The Bullying Game.
